Welcome to Antiques At Bolingbroke!
Dear Customers and Old Friends,
I write to share an update about special sale on our inventory of antiques, the next stage for our business, and a personal note.
2015 has been a year of unexpected experiences, both sad and joy-filled. Many of you know already that Jerry passed away on July 24, 2015, from a sudden degenerative neurological disease. We were able to take care of him at home with the help of hospice and in-home care. He was not in any pain, maintained a sense of joy and humor, and enjoyed having many loved ones around him. We celebrated our 44th anniversary in June and my family and I are taking life one-day-at-a-time working through our grief and our memories.
Part of that is starting a new chapter to enable joy to come in. Jerry and I were beginning the process of retirement when he became ill. I am in the process of realizing our dream and retiring. I will be co-chairing the 5th Annual Old City Flower Festival which will be at our parish of St. Joseph's in January, 2016. I love being grandmother to Mandy and Sean's 20 month old, Paul! In February, Jenna and Robert will be presenting us with another grandson! My Mom always said, "The Lord takes one, but He gifts us with another..." I know many of you have experienced this life cycle in your own families. Know that I have appreciated your thoughts and prayers that have supported us in this journey with Jerry.
I invite you to be a part of closing this chapter. We have a store wide retirement sale going on now. Everything in the store is 30% off. Glassware and jewelry are 50% off. Delivery can be arranged.
We are also separately selling the buildings and land. If you would like to know more, please contact realtor Connie Ham, 478-994-5900.
Antiques at Bolingbroke allowed Jerry and I to enjoy our shared passion and interests. We have loved forming deep bonds with our customers and helping you to curate wonderful settings in your homes and businesses. The family and I deeply thank you for your friendship, support, and kindness.
